Ben's father has been with Northwestern Mutual since 1981. Growing up Ben witness his dad have a career where he never missed one thing that was important to him. He witnessed hard work, balance, and flexibility. Ben witnessed the people that met with his dad, what their relationships looked like, the respect and appreciation his dad and others had for each other. 

The philosophy of life, the quality of life, and flexibility attracted Ben to follow in his father's footsteps and Ben joined Northwestern Mutual as an intern. Upon graduating from the University of Louisiana-Lafayette, Ben became a full-time representative in 2001. 

Ben has spent the last 20+ years building his firm on the values of relationships and integrity, our team desires to build deep, personalized relationships with everyone we meet on the foundation of open and transparent communication. When we understand you, your goals, your dreams, and your concerns, we can better tailor our approach to your specific situation.

His experience as a financial advisor has led him to his dual role as Wealth Management Advisor and Managing Director. As Managing Director for the Greater Baton Rouge area, Ben has proven success in leading advisors through strategic planning, relationship management, and problem-solving. There are few careers where you can leverage your skills and talents to bring substantial joy, confidence, and peace of mind to your clients while creating significant freedom and opportunity for your family and your team.

Ben is not only blessed to be in that career himself but also has the unique opportunity to invite others to do the same.

  • ADVISOR OF THE YEAR (2013,2014,2015): This award is one of the highest honors as an advisor of Louisiana and Mississippi and is based on comprehensive financial planning.
  • FORUM (2013,2014,2016): Forum is the highest level of productivity and excellence achieved as a representative of Northwestern Mutual. 
  • MILLION DOLLAR ROUND TABLE (2009-2010, 2012, and 2015):  MDRT is a global, independent association that is recognized internationally as the standard of excellence in the life insurance and financial services business.  As a premier association of financial professionals, MDRT serves their clients by exemplary performance and the highest standards of ethics, knowledge, service, and productivity. 
  • COURT OF THE TABLE: Court of the Table members distinguish themselves within the industry through their superior performance by producing at a level THREE TIMES  that of MDRT membership requirements.  Achieving membership in MDRT's Court of the Table is a career milestone attained only by those who have demonstrated exceptional professional knowledge, client service, and ethical conduct.
  • OUTSTANDING ACHIEVEMENT IN RECRUITING AND SALES (OARS) (2017,2018): This award recognizes managing directors and district directors for exceptional performance in terms of balancing both management and personal production.  The name of the award is a symbolic reference to having "both oars in the water" at all times.

  • CLU® -  The Chartered Life Underwriter designation is the highest standard of knowledge and trust in Financial Planning.  It has long been recognized as the fundamental and foremost educational credential for life insurance professionals.  A CLU®  is a premier credential in the insurance profession, representing eight or more comprehensive college-level courses covering all aspects of insurance planning, estate and retirement issues, taxation, business insurance, and risk management.
  • LUTCF - Life Underwriting and Training Course Fellow is a professional designation for individuals who meet or exceed the qualification standards determined by the two organizations that jointly sponsor the designation, The American College and the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA). This designation marks an agent’s long-term commitment to professionalism on behalf of clients, establishes the agent’s competence and business experience, marks a commitment to The American College’s and NAIFA’s Code of Ethics and fosters additional professional development.
